Data Scientist at Expedia Group. Former physicist who spent grant money to make screensaver-caliber movies of colorful turbulent plasmas with supercomputers. Based out of Austin, Texas, although with spending 50% of my work week on zoom over 2020 that isn’t such a factor anymore.

I’d call myself an all-arounder with breadth in several areas and depth in some. I enjoy contributing where the need is greatest: mentoring, researching, modeling, implementing, debugging, iterating, productionizing, testing, analyzing, head-scratching, commiserating. Always learning.

I enjoy teaching kids math, science, and programming, conquering massive eighteen-hundred foot summits in central Texas, and rugby. Watching, not playing.
